Director, Head of Litigation

Ian is a solicitor, head of the Litigation department director at the firm.

Ian has over twenty five years’ commercial litigation experience, thirteen years with Cole and Cole (now Blake Morgan), ten of which as Partner in charge of the commercial litigation team and four years with Paul Davidson Taylor as Managing Partner of the Reading office.

Ian has extensive experience advising in all aspects of commercial dispute. His particular areas of expertise are fraud, contentious insolvency and contractual disputes.

Director, Head of Conveyancing

Tim is a solicitor, head of the Conveyancing Department and director.

Tim has over thirty years’ experience as property and commercial lawyer. He has worked exclusively in the Reading area and has been a partner of two other local firms before joining Johnsons Solicitors in October 2014. He has extensive conveyancing experience in both residential and commercial matters and also advises on landlord and tenant matters.

Tim uses a “no nonsense” approach to the law and is mindful of the benefit of achieving value for money for his large and loyal client base.

Licensed Conveyancer

Rebecca joined Johnsons in 2017 and is working towards her qualification. Rebecca has a good grounding in residential conveyancing and works under the guidance of Tim Clift.

Chartered Legal Executive

Francesca is a Chartered Legal Executive.

Francesca has over thirteen years’ litigation experience and joined Johnsons in 2003. Having qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive her work covers a range of areas of law including debt recovery, factoring company guarantor actions, directors’ qualification, insolvency, bankruptcy and winding up. This includes both contested and non-contested actions.

Director & Consultant Solicitor

Razza is a Director and joined the firm in 2019, after relocating from London to Reading. Prior to
joining the firm, he was a Partner at a High Street firm in London.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2003, Razza is a property law specialist dealing with all aspects of
Property law, ranging from buying, selling and re-mortgaging residential property to dealing with
commercial transactions involving commercial leases, business acquisitions and company purchases.

He also has experience in dealing with shared ownership transactions and lease extensions. Razza
also has experience in dealing with Landlord and Tenant litigation, involving matters such acting for
Landlords in evicting Tenants in both residential and commercial premises and acting for Tenants in
defending possession proceedings.

Consultant Solicitor

Caroline was admitted as a solicitor in 2002 and has over 18 years experience as a commercial and property litigator with a particular focus on landlord and tenant litigation. Caroline acts for both landlords and tenants in relation to a range of property disputes, to include :

Collective enfranchisement claims (freehold purchase)
Individual lease extension claims
Purchase of the freehold of a leasehold house
Right to manage claims
Right of first refusal claims
Professional negligence claims
Property possession claims

Conveyancing Assistant

Alison is Tim’s conveyancing assistant.

Consultant Solicitor

Kuldeep Sethi is a Consultant Solcitor with Johnsons. He is a graduate in Law from the University of Sheffield and has been a practising solicitor since 1984. His main areas of Practice are residential and Commerical Conveyancing. Kuldeep Sethi is also fluent in three Indian languages namly Hindi, Punjai and Gujarati.
